Studio Rules

As we began to move forward on gradually opening the city and businesses, we ask you to follow the Scotdance guideline to reopening studios. We want this to be an environment that allows us to keep active and stay safe.

• No person shall enter the studio if they are sick. That includes the family of dancers and the teacher. They will need to stay home for at least 14 days before they can return to the studio.
• If a parent/student becomes ill after being at the studio, please report this to the teacher so it can be communicated to other parents.
• All areas of the studio will be disinfected before and after class. Teacher will be scheduling 15 minutes to do this between classes. This will also allow the prior class to leave before the next class arrives.
• Only the teacher and dancers will be permitted into the studio dance area. 
• Maximum class size is 4 students.
• Masks will not be required by the dancers but the teacher will be required to use a mask.
• Please have your child prepared prior to arriving to the studio so that little or no help is needed to attend class. 
• Parents are not permitted to enter the main door as the teacher will be there to escort your child up to the studio.
• Plastic water bottles will be provided to each student when they enter so there will not be any personal belongings left around the studio.
• Markers will be outlined on the floor 4 metres (12 feet) apart to designate dance spots.
